Kristin Fisher was added to CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in the month of July 2021. As an official for the Space and Defense Department Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering everything from NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space firms and space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In addition to covering impeachment trials of two presidents, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other topics. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted. Prior to being hired by the channel in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in the year 2014. The company specialized in producing documentaries for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has an Bachelor of Science in Journalism, which she obtained from Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter live in Washington, D.C.
